My name is Gina Rawding, and I am a Family Help Support Worker within the Early Help and Prevention Team. I have worked in Early Help for almost five years, supporting children and families to overcome challenges and build stronger, more resilient futures.
Before this role, I spent several years at Hindley Junior and Infant School as a Teaching Assistant and Learning Mentor. I was also a parent of a child at the school, which gave me a unique insight into the school community from multiple perspectives. Over the years, I have served on the governing body both as a staff governor and a parent governor, giving me a solid understanding of governance and how to support the school, its families, and its pupils effectively.
Now that my own children are grown and have flown the nest, I find myself with more time and energy to give back to a school that holds a very special place in my heart. I’m excited to once again contribute to Hindley J&I, working alongside its talented, enthusiastic, and committed staff to support its keen and inquisitive learners.
In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing at home with my dog, spending time with my family, and indulging in my love for all things Harry Potter.
