Hi, I am John and have recently been appointed a governor.  I live in Hindley, within 10 minutes’ walk of the school.
I was a civil Servant for 36 years.  During Covid I applied for early retirement to care for my disabled wife.
 
Following my wife’s passing in 2024, I found I had time on my hands.  I am now employed part-time at the café in Tesco, Hindley.  I hope that I can bring support to the staff and children at the school, in a way that both encourages and challenges both to succeed to achieve.
